Definition of electrical authorization

Electrical authorization is now a regulatory requirement for all workers who carry out operations on or near electrical installations. It requires prior training.

It is the recognition, by one's employer, of a person's ability to safely perform assigned tasks.

Authorization is not directly linked to hierarchical position or professional classification. It is formalized by a document issued by the employer, signed by both the employer and the authorized individual. The employer's granting of authorization does not absolve the employer of liability.

Authorization alone does not authorize its holder to independently carry out the operations for which they are authorized. They must also be appointed by their employer to perform these operations. Assignment to a specific job position may constitute an implicit designation.

Who are we?

The ACFITEC Training Center, a major player in the security sector since 1981, specializes in technical training: Residential electricity, Industrial electricity, Electrotechnics, Automation, Pneumatics, Technical maintenance, Work organization (SMED, 5S,...), Safety (ergonomics, etc.).

ACFITEC has been recognized since June 1993 by the Regional Health Insurance Fund for training and granting electrical authorizations.

ACFITEC complies with the provisions of the Labor Code (Articles R4544-9 and R4544-10) as well as the recommendations of the ED6127 documentation from INRS-CRAM and the NFC18-510 standard.
